I'll volunteer to be her travel companion if she goes to Prague!

I've not been to AMS, but have been to PRG and several other cities in the Czech Republic. There are a lot of steps in PRG, but IIRC, Uber is very prevalent there. Mass transit (trams and buses, if she'd prefer to avoid the metro due to stairs/escalators) are easy to use and navigate, and will get you just about anywhere in PRG.

My suggestion is for her to learn a bit of Czech, even if it is simply, Nerozumím češtině. Anglicky prosím?"
