I hope it is ok to bring up an old post, as something very similar happened to me recently.

In this case, I was sitting in seat 1D on a flight from NYC-LAX ( I think). It was a long enough flight that we had received a meal service and then movie. The flight attendant had done everything required, and was sitting on the jump seat across from the galley (and diagonal from me) reading.

I really didn't think anything of it when he kept putting the magazine down, closing it, etc when someone came up to use the forward lavatory. Well, I went up at one point, and he was so engrossed in what he was reading, he didn't look up. Low and behold, it was naked women! I was not able to see which magazine it was, but on my way into the lavatory I did get a good look at naked women when I glanced down!

I was shocked, to say the least. Really, whether it is ok or not to read it is not the point here. I don't think there really was much risk of others seeing it (obviously some however, since I did). My big question, should a FA really be looking at that on the plane? Is there anything wrong with it, or it is the same as reading anything else?
