Yes, call the US number (ideally the EXP desk if you have such status). Tell the rep to search segment by segment using a 'direct access' screen. If they still are not finding it, ask them to involve their help desk.
Thanks for the insight. Unfortunately I have no such status. After multiple times calling multiple different call centers I waited several hours and tried again. Finally got someone who seemed to know what they were doing. They were able to move my auh-jfk leg to F but they had to change the mle-auh leg to a slightly earlier time. Because they were able to move the important leg to F even though I preferred the other MLE flight which still had business guest availability I didn't fight it. Now that the new itinerary is ticketed I may try and switch the MLE leg to the other time.
