Although Taipei is supposedly the gay mecca in East Asia and gay people have higher disposable income, I would think trade shows have bigger influence on the pricing than Pride.
Taipei World Trade Center is a good resource. Nangang Exhibition Center is closer to the Nangang Courtyard but Hall 1 and Hall 3 are closer to the W. The big shows are spread between the two.
