IAH-SFO this morning was third flight I've taken since new boarding procedure and first of those (IMO) that would be impacted by it. Sure enough, I was about 10 on the waitlist. Sitting in 8D, I decided to be first 1K to board in order to watch this new disease causing pre-boarding 1Ks and Plats/Golds in BG1 to suddenly have spasms in the F cabin causing them to want to store their bags there instead of the ample room above their coach seats. It didn't happen. I did see 2 F passengers each put two bags in the overhead. None of their bags would have counted as the second carry-on size-wise. None of the passengers just ahead of me or behind me (as I watched from my seat) put their bags in F bins on their way back to coach. The guy in 1A who boarded later in BG1 had to put his bag above (about) row 3 because of one of the Bag-Limits-Don't-Apply-To-Me Twins.

I boarded my other 3 flights (one in F, two in coach) at end of BG1, so can't comment on F bin poaching by non-F passengers, but I had zero problems storing my bags. 2 were Premier-light flights, the other a 777 w/ plenty of bin space.

SFO did the best of pacing the boarding. KOA and IAH the worst. I wasn't paying attention at LAX because it was 1am and I was tired.
