This is the most nerve-wracking thing. I booked a Nov 17 LAX-MAD-GVA IB business class flight back in May. Called in and paid the change fee to move it to Nov 14. Now the record locator doesn't have the flight show up on the website (errors out). When I changed, I requested a confirmation email. It was directly from
[email protected], with my booking reference number and eticket number noted and RESERVATION CONFIRMED, BUSINESS (U) for each segment, along with a link to checkmytrip.app.link/retrieve?R=reference_number&N=surname&F=firstname. The checkmytrip link leads to a page that has booking status "Cancelled", but with seats still assigned properly (2L and 1F for the MAD and GVA segments, respectively). Those seats are marked as occupied on the IB seatmap when doing a dummy booking, which is a good sign. I've called Iberia and they were able to find my booking. I guess I just want some assurance that my ticket is valid and to hear if anyone else has been in a similar situation.
