It is likely that cheaper fares have been purchased. As those "seats" are sold, only more expensive fare buckets are left and thus the price you pay is higher.

The DUB and SNA trips present different issues.

1. DUB is a long ways off. There are not likely to be many lower fare bucket seats this early and someone may have bought the few that there are. Cheaper seats will not most likely open until 90 days or so out. But, they might never open if it is a great year and many people book,

2. SNA. If by "November" you mean Thanksgiving, this is the busiest flying holiday of the year. The economy is on screech and people who might have stayed home may now purchase a ticket. The likelihood is greater that fare buckets and thus prices will rise.

All of this is speculative because the data needed to make accurate predictions is proprietary for good reason. For any one day, prices could rise or fall.

Thus, your task is one of risk tolerance. When you see a fare which you can live with, jump on it and book and do not look back. What if your SNA trip goes up by another 40% while you wait or worse, it sells out?
