New challenge. Could use some insight.
I have MLE-AUH-JFK-LAX Booked. First 2 legs are in J last leg in F. It was 115k.
I was advised when I initially booked I could upgrade the AUH-JFK leg to F when there is availability.
There is availability now and I called in to AA Australia.
They can see the availability, but are telling me when I try upgrading the leg they try and book it MLE-LAX and are NOT finding the F availability that way... they can only find it when they look for the AUH-JFK leg by itself. Which I tried to explain to them they will never find F all the way because there is NO MLE-AUH F and they need to look it up mixed itinerary. I even was transferred to a supervisor who kept insisting the same thing.
Any thoughts on how to proceed?
