Just remember that this card is basically a 2% cash back card. You don't earn airline miles, but you can apply your bank against a wide variety of travel categories at a penny a point (and if you earn two points per dollar then that is 2% cash back). It is a good card and I have had it for years. At any time just log on to your account and "erase" travel purchases with your point balance. There is no reason to hold off as they always will have the same value.
