I accidentally paid for an Amazon purchase using my MR points-- any way to reverse it
I linked my Platinum card and "Pay with points" option to my Amazon account to take advantage of various promos. Last week, I was in a hurry and made a ~$60 purchase on the Amazon app and I must have accidentally clicked the "pay with points" option; I just noticed this today. It deducted around 9K MR from my account. Stupid move on my part. I contacted AMEX, they said to contact Amazon. I contacted Amazon via online chat, the rep wasn't able to complete it, but said he would forward the issue to the billing team, who will see what they can do. Has anybody had this happen to them? Any resolution? My expectations are low at this point.
