We flew coach in Ansett last month from Sydney to Ballina. I was quite surprised at the coach seats--they were roomier than any coach seat I've sat in, and there was actually a couple of inches from my knees to the back of the seat in front of me. I'm tall and this usually isn't the case. I don't know what equipment we flew on.
