Actually, having read this morning (I'm behind on my news) about Weight Watchers officially changing their name to "WW" instead of "Weight Watchers" since they say they want to not be about weight anymore but be about wellness, it actually changes my perspective just a bit. I originally assumed the OP meant just meant sort of nicknaming it WW as I think they currently do, but if there is no other name for it other than WW, I guess it is a little less simple to distinguish the two companies if you were not familiar with either of them already and you did not know WW was the company formerly known as Weight Watchers. Most anyone on FT knows W hotels and likely would not confuse the single W with WW or WWE (formerly WWF, I think) or the current WWF (who sued WWE over their use of WWF in certain markets I think). But I suppose it could be conceivable that someone who is not familiar with either could get it confused how many Ws it is.
