So I booked a flight in Iberia.com and gave them my AA #. I have two questions:
1. I booked premium economy and it is asking me to pay $40 to select a seat. Where can I do this for free? Shouldn't premium economy have free seating assignment? Should I call Iberia and if so, whats the best start, the general number?
I have an Iberia Avios account but since I didn't use that reservation my trip doesn't show up there, would being OW Ruby count for anything for the seat?

2. Is there any possible way to add this trip to my AA account to show under the mytrips section?

ETA: The funny part is that it is giving me free seating including Xl on the short domestic flight - MAD - IBZ but not on my premium economy section for the long haul.
