Are you sure the subject flight's CWT-booked fare is identical to previous ones, or possibly slightly different? If it has been the same throughout, then consider yourself a beneficiary of good concierge service.
Yeah, I'm not sure about that. I also know I had some P fare bookings in the past. Guess in the future I'll have to wait until closer to the departure date to ensure I get a P fare class before having my TA make the booking.
I didn't ask for AC's rules specifically, but I did ask about same-day changes and they didn't know what I was talking about. You're probably right that I've been either lucky or on a different fare class in the past.
Anyway, I found a fare basis code on EF very similar to the one CWT booked me on. The same day rules on it seem to permit changes for $100 only "after departure". Assuming the rules are the same on my booking, I wonder if this means that I can SDC for subsequent legs. Guess I'll find out over the next few weeks.
