Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Barcelona for the first time.
I found the balance between the location from the city center vs price to be just about right. The location is easily served by the L1 metro (Glories station, about 10 mins walk) and the
#7 bus (stops literally right in front of the hotel and goes all the way to the city center).
#14 bus is also nearby (3 mins walk) that will take you to el born, ramblas and barceloneta area.
Lots of shops (shopping mall about 6 mins walk with a Carrefour). There's a 24hr supermercat nearby (2 mins walk), just exit the hotel and turn left, cross 1 street and you should see it. Neighborhood is very safe to walk at night with lots of neighborhood type restaurants and sidewalk seating.
Personally i wouldn't bother with the hotel breakfast at 15 euros, way better options nearby for cheaper.
