Frankly, we will not enter or exit CAI without it. The personal escort, avoiding the crowds, no security lines, not being left to the mercy of a immigration officer who may be in a mood or stressed and the private lounges you generally have to yourself all make it a contrast to the chaos of the city.
We travel HLO, we are generally off the plane and into the hotel car within 10 mins from exiting the aircraft. On departure not having to queue to enter the terminal or check in means once we enter we are in the lounge within 5 minutes of arrival.
I consider this to be one of the best Meet & Assist products in the World. It rivals TG F service and beats airports where they can't take you through security or skip certain lines.
It's not marketed well and the only pax who seem to use it are Arab celebrities and Gulf Arabs. I gave this feedback to the manager the last time we flew out. I also added they really needed to offer transfers between T2 and T3 (we often connect to MS) and they do not escort you. She said they were at the mercy of the airport authorities who make their lives difficult.
very good to know, it does seem like a real limitation that the service on departures does not really expedite the security at the gates and still requires passengers to arrive at the terminal two hours prior to departure— seems like a long time if one is HBO. It seems like in the past when flights didn’t use air bridges at T2 it was a much better service with car transfer to plane on departure.
