It always helps when you provide details as you will get better information. What carrier and what airport?

Generally -- and I stress generally -- carriers issue a document which looks like a BP to SB passengers. Different carriers call it different things, but it looks like a BP and is designed for exactly OP's purpose.

Provide the detail and someone here can give you the specific process for your flight.
