We have a flight over Christmas with ryanair and they have given us 4x10kg to be checked in due to the change in the Hand baggage rules. Obviously, this is to compensate for us no longer being able to bring a 10kg bag to the gate which would have been checked in there. However, as we are 4 people, do you think we could pool this allowance and bring 2x20kg larger bags instead? I know pooling is usually allowed according to their website, but wondered if the 10kg bag would be treated differently?
