Doesn't it take over the CAI route instead in winter? Though still leaves plenty of hours during the day for shorthaul routes.
The London-Moscow route goes all A321 mid-haul for the winter timetable. 233/232 & 237/236 are to/from DME and 235/234 is to/from SVO.
