Resurrecting an old thread. I am doing a T4-T5 connection on a friday early afternoon. Going from EY (Y) to BA (domestic C) on separate tickets. I only ever fly with hand baggage. I am wanting to book a 1hr25 connection as otherwise I will be looking at nearly 6hrs connection.
I know that this is risky, but assuming my EY flight arrives on time do you think I can still do immigration, transfer etc and make the next flight?
If it's a domestic point to point ticket in business why don't you book the 6 hour wait flight and then if your flight is on time use the free same day change to switch to the 1h25 one? You have to switch 1 hour before the flight time (you can do this online/iphone) and this relies on there being availability.
