Travelling on BA155 on Monday to CAI and when checking in today for my feeder flight I am being offered FLUB class seats and the First section seems to have been opened up. This was not the case when I displayed seat availability yesterday. Can I safely assume that if I select one of these seats, I won’t be shifted back to far worse than I am already holding in CW?
I recall reading about these seat shifts but cannot recall if that was at check-in.
Nothing is ever guaranteed with FLUB. However in the 3 times I've been offered it on CAI flights, it has stuck every time.
Availability is currently J8 C3 D3 R0 I0 W2 E0 T0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N9 Q9 O9 G9
I'm never sure if the J8 includes the 8 now available FLUB seats or not.
FWIW, I would risk it.
