Technically yes, a couple years ago. I was upgraded (by at least several categories) to a corner junior suite with lounge access and a water view from a base level room with lounge access at the RC Hong Kong. However, after becoming frustrated trying to book the hotel through the PP line, I called AmEx PTS and booked it through FHR, so I'm not sure my status had anything to do with the upgrade. [Yes, I know the published PTS benefit is a one category upgrade, but many properties go above and beyond.]
