Otherwise, they can't really put them on routes with the 77W, right? It almost seems to me they should have done 2 configurations of the 789 - one regional and one long haul.
Currently, I think they are only planning to take four 789s and 20+ 78J, so maybe they want the 789 fleet to be a common cabin. I would have thought the 78J would be configured regional (with reclining J seats and no PE) and the 789 would be able to serve ULH with lie-flat J and PE.
