charger between seats works for my phone, but the standard macbook pro charger doesnt seem to fit properly?? Unfortunately in need of a charge! Anyone else familiar with this? Crew has taken laptop to charge in Y where I know it charges as the outlet is flush with the console on the seat in front, vs in J where it is recessed in berween the seats.
frustrating
Every macBook I have bought came with a power cable as standard, and the 2 prong piece slides off and there's a cable that slides on. really flexible cable, unlike any other three wire cable I have ever seen. I must have 6 of them. I wish other extension cords were made as well.
Since you got the short end of the stick, there are a few options, the simplest being form Amazon, etc., a 6 inch extension cord that has 3 pronged plug on one end and a 3 prong socket on the other. Also there are 2 prong to 3 prong ungrounded plug adapters at hardware stores that stick out an inch and a bit. The little extension cord is very useful even without Apple adapters because a lot of the aircraft sockets are pretty loose and they can grip better.
On Asian aircraft like CX 777, a standard "giant UK" to North American adapter works well.
