I never received any kind of heads-up email saying my Nexus was expiring, even though I have received other Nexus-related emails in the past. My boss says he did get an email telling him to renew, and did so earlier this year. Is there any consistency in why someone would or would not receive an email alert to renew?
the 6 month grace is super helpful and you're safe assuming you submit before expire, unless there is an issue with your application.
i think they do not send notices out because the logic is that anything regarding you and you personally (ie not a policy change affecting all members) has to be viewed thru goes, or what is now ttp.dhs.gov. and mailing stuff is a financial and environmental waste.
i didn't realize my expiration until GE machine told me i have 14 days or something. renewal for me took 2.75 months, zero issues with my privileges on every end.
ps how is the worldperks program these days? i sure miss those yqt-dlh runs on nw lol
