The train from CDG takes forever and is pretty nasty. It’s also a long walk from the arrivals hall.

Assuming you are going central London to central Paris the extra for the Eurostar is well worth it IMO. This is the one route I don’t fly - the seats are comfortable and once you count check in times and travel either side it’s almost always going to be quicker.
