The various Igo(juice) and Targus adapters that fellowe flyertalkers seem to like are not compatible for my model of toshiba. The only one i've found that offers any hope of working is this one,

Anyway, my question is, do Inverter's work on AA's planes? Or, am I out of luck for finding something to power my toshiba? Do any of you know of other products which would work on my computer?
Thank you for your help,

The 300 W inverter may try to draw in excess of the power port and not succeed. That is a very high wattage converter - 20 amps at 15V.
And once for cars may not work unless they say they are OK for 11-16V DC not just to the 13.8V maximum of a car battery under charge by an alternator. The seat ports provide 15V DC.
I use a LIND (
www.lindelectronics.com) adapter designed speciafically for my Apple Powerbook. In my opinion the state of the art for on board power supplies are made by Lind, in Minneapolis. They are made specifically for the job and inverters are not.
