United really needs to either order a new small narrow body (A220/E195), or come to some type of agreement with the pilot group for more A319s/737s instead of the small narrow body in order to reduce this CRJ200 flying. Time will tell how this works out.

UA had a great opportunity to add a ton of 737-700's at a steep discount, but they tossed the order and went all-in with 73X .... followed by LOTS more CRJ-200's hitting the fleet. Ugh.
