Is that really possible for someone who didn't sign up for SPG before Aug 18? I'm not sure, but I get the impression that the OP may have never been an SPG member. And I don't see any way to sign up for SPG now. And the 25 stays at SPG properties before the end of the year only works for SPG members AFAIK.
