Well... Yes sometimes I am a bit of a fast driver... Hey I am from California, and I do a bit of driving in Europe, so it is in my blood. Fines in OZ are quite steep. I remember paying less than a grand for going 150+ in a 65 on I-80. But... In this matter I was sure NOT to show the cops my licenses. They infact took my address verbaly, which I may have quoted wrong. I feel a bit guilty, but I also know the revenue that they get off of people. And I know that people get screwed sometimes for going 30 in a 25 etc. Yes it is wrong... But come on now 30 in a 25 $100+ fine, and $100's of insurrance increases etc. So sometimes they need to be screwed. As for the Eurocar, I will see what they do If they charge me the fine, I will let it go, it is not worth arguing. Idid the crime, I may have to do the time. Hell I will get 1000+ FF miles for it In fact if anyone is in need of miles, they are welcome to pay my other Aussie fines Case closed! BTW I really think some Aussie roads should not have limits ala NT (Outback etc) If your gonna hit a roo, at 110 or 220 it is going to do some damage no matter what!
