Depends what you are looking for. Hard product wise, AA beats BA hands down IMO. The seat is so much better and cabin density allows more privacy.

Service is much better on BA though and the wine list is more interesting on BA than it is on AA.

I generally prefer AA any time of the day to cross the pond.
