I’m having ongoing problems with Cathay - I can log in using the BA ref number but on the Cathay website it just says ‘seat selection via operating airline’ even though Cathay is the operating airline.

My assumption was that they honoured one world status and allowed seat selection - my exec club number is added to the booking as it was done through BA app.
