I prefer to sit further forward, due to less engine noise.

The lounge area rarely gets noisy.

Middle two seats together, forward facing, are the best, both for a couple, and solo if the adjacent seat is empty as it gives more space. (Row E&F)

Window seats, forward facing are 2nd best for solo travellers. (Row A&K)

Window side, but not window seats are the 2nd worst, most tight, rear facing, and no window view (perhaps a marginal view). (Row C&H). They are better than row D&G slightly in that they offer more privacy and a bit more feeling of space, but are by no means preferable.

Middle, outer seats are also unfavourable IMO, they are rear facing, and they offer no additional space if the adjacent seat is empty, as row E&F do. Row D&G are the worst of the lot.

14 E or F (depending on whether you are right or left handed) ideally solo with the adjacent seat empty, or 2nd option with a companion in the adjacent seat would be my pick.
