AC clearly stated that it allows 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop bag) on board for free.
But my experience is that people do bring more than 1 personal items in addition to the carry-on suitcase. e.g. one laptop bag stacked on top of the carry-on suitcase and one backpack.
Do you guys know if there is some flexibility here? If so I might give it a shot in next flight (international route).
