There's actually no reason why the $8000 passenger can't be the 15th (instead of 115th) to board in your scenario. He doesn't have to stand at the back of BG1.
The obsessed $8,000 flier who has to board first will likely board practically first - or the first few. Because the smart 1K's will be partaking in the lounge rather than sitting idly by on a plane during 45 minutes of boarding.
