Stay Report - 9/13 - 9/14
Location: The hotel is located on the intersection of US 19 and US 441 across the street from the massive Harrah's Cherokee Casino. There are a few restaurants and fast food places nearby and about 15 minutes away is the nice little town of Sylva, NC which has a number of nice restaurants and some pretty good breweries in it.
Hotel: The hotel is a standard issued HIX which has an annoyingly small parking lot. There's also an outdoor pool which is already closed for the season. In the lobby is a nice sized breakfast area and a small sundry store. The hotel has two elevators which means there aren't long waits.
Check In: Handled quickly by a really friendly employee who thanked me for my status and gave me a room on the top floor. The only bad part was my keys didn't work and I had to come back.
Room: The room was pretty nice with two large beds, a small desk, a fairly large TV, a decent sized bathroom and no issues with wifi or with outlets near the bed.
Breakfast: Breakfast was the usual selection of cinnamon rolls, pancake machine, biscuits and gravy, omelets, scrambled eggs and sausage. Everything was replaced quickly and the staff kept the place clean.
My rate was $119 and I'd gladly come back if I had to be in the area again.
