My wife is Thai and cannot answer these questions from the point of view of a non-Thai/white/farang national. She, too, is curious about whether the experience of non-Thai women is markedly different from hers.

This was actually a matter of discussion between the two of us, prompted by her observation of the vast difference in the numbers of male vs female expats that we see.

I've proposed that it may simply be due to the difference in the number of males in the corporate environment, but, we are wondering about the actual experiences of female visitors to SE Asia.
