That is such a foolish arguement. We are debating the probabilty of injury in different forms of travel. My point was not to do something foolish while using that particular form of travel. You are less likely to die on a bike than in a car... does that mean you should not wear a helmet? You are less likely to die hit by lightning... so should you hold a golf club over your head in the rain?
You should go into politics, they way you changed the subject. But to answer the non secular, I would not buy a two seat car if I had a family of three, and allow the child to ride in the passangers lap. There, see how dumb that arguement is? Basically, regardless of the trasnportation mode, travel safely and wisely.
Fast Air, I didn't look up that particular crash. I thought three lap children perished. But, the number is not important. The point is to get the original poster to consider buying a seat for their child. Cleary it is risky, in the event of mid air turbulence and the rare occurance of a crash. It seems every year there is a severe mid air turbulance or two.
