HNL-LAX Segment:

The Hawaiian Airlines Business Class was ok as the seat were abit narrow to sleep in. The configuration is a 2x2x2 neat to each other, and I would recommend the middle 2 seats for direct isle access. In a lie flat position, the foot tended to go through the leg holder as they don't have official leg wells for the middle section. They used an IPAD for the entertainment system. Average hard product, but allows you to sleep for redeye flights. Food was average too. I ended up having pork sliders, with fruit, and Portuguese bean soup. The soup was the best item. Next time it might just be premium economy.

After arriving to LAX, I ended up going to the Star Alliance Lounge. I checked both the business and first class lounge out on the 5th Floor of the international terminal. It is a fantastic lounge on both sides. The first class lounge had at most 5 people. The business class lounge was packed full by late morning. The food selection had both warm and cold, and is decent. The first class lounge has ala carte menu items made to order. I would highly recommend this lounge to anyone traveling on the Star Alliance group at LAX.

The Korean Tacos were the best!

Kale Salad and Thai Spring rolls: The Kale salad was delicious and fresh with sweet strawberries balanced by the goat cheese. The Thai spring rolls were below average as the noodle inside was hard, and not cooked through.

Now I'm waiting for the LAX-SIN flight. I labeled LAX-ICN-SIN as the book the cook was that way, but its directly to SIN.
