The other day we flew with Titan from Gatwick to Alicante. I was in seat 11D. A family then boarded and young child (aged 3?) was put in 11F with mother in 11E. Son (9?) sat in the emergency exit in 12F with father in 12E. I don’t know whether they were sitting in exactly the right seats or whether they just put the children in the window seats. Cabin crew correctly advised that the child could not sit in the emergency exit row and so the family moved round. This resulted in both children sitting next to me in 11e/f. I was concerned about this and queried this with a member of the cabin crew who did not see the problem and said it was totally within Titan’s policy.
Was I right in being concerned or was I being over sensitive?
Also before departure a lady felt unwell and the cabin crew administered oxygen. The captain came to review the situation but decided she was fit to fly.
As for the flight itself: an announcement was made at the beginning that the front toilets were those in club only and that eurotraveller passengers should use the rear toilets. This was widely ignored and was not helped by the lack of a dividing curtain between club and the rear cabin which led to a long queue in club for the front toilet throughout the flight. I would not have been happy if I had been flying in club. The service was ridiculously slow and the people in the last few rows were not served at all.
Decent leg room though!
Not particularly looking forward to the return flight on Sunday.
