I would be furious if this happened to me. I guess I should be aware of it if I ever need an LAX stay - I'll read reviews and try to figure out where this is less likely to happen.
Obviously, in that case - which I would consider a
huge failing on the part of the hotel - a non-guest should not use the shuttle.
