No-show Market Fare reward will not cancel return leg?
Traveling on a round-trip Market Fare AE reward on AC.
I am not going to use the outbound, but do want to use the return. Travel begins within 22 days.
It's not worth it to me to pay the change fees to make the outbound the inbound and rebook the outbound as a future inbound.

According to an AE agent I spoke with, since it is a Market Fare ticket, if I no-show for the outbound leg the return will not be cancelled.
Does this sound right to you?
