Incidentally, this is where the "C" in ExpertFlyer's rightmost column comes into play -- in order to find out what inventory class you'll need on TP, you click on the "C" and enter TP as the secondary airline. It will then print a (often somewhat confusing) table of inventory mappings; in this case, you have these rules (excerpted from others that are irrelevant for this fare):

That indicates that you need to be look for Z class on the TP flight, but that you can also book into economy class V if Z isn't available.

Hope this helps.

(BTW: the sale fare you're looking at expires today, in case you weren't aware).
Yes this is super helpful, I have an expertflyer subscription but had no idea this existed. Airfares sure are complicated beasts!

This fare last month was supposed to expire 13 AUG, and then they renewed it to 13 SEP. It is such a good price I've been taking advantage of it for a bunch of bookings next year hehe. Wonder if this is around because TP has said they're starting SFO-LIS non-stop in June (CEO reiterated it last weekend)?

I'm trying to make the following dates work but the non-stop SFO-LHRs are 0 out in most fare buckets for some reason on the way back. I'm basically doing something like a 4 hr stopover in LHR, but for practical purposes it is to/from Lisbon:
SFO-LIS 06 AUG 2019 (preferably evening departure)
LIS-SFO 15 AUG 2019 (any time departure)
