The Doubletree is right in Times Square and the Sheraton is several blocks north. That gives the Sheraton a HUGE advantage, as Times Square is an absolute zoo. The Sheraton has had its ups and downs, but they've been renovating it and they seem to be trying (go to the Starwood forum for more). If you've got *wood status, ask for an renovated room.
