Depends on your city.

If you're based in Alaska, Seattle or Portland, then its probably best to stick with MVP (maybe focus on Delta out of Seattle as backup).
If you're based somewhere else, pick whichever airline has a hub there as your mvp-backup. In general your options are Delta/AA/United. Southwest you can always buy priority boarding if you want the status benefits on a per-flight basis as needed.
