I’m kicking myself for not taking some time to explore this bag in person at the O.R. Show. I find myself curious how it can be too large for carry on regulations when unzipped to the larger-liter configuration... but the other bags like my Osprey 46 *are* carry on OK with those extra liters.

Their flagship store in in San Fransisco... maybe I should pop by and check it out if they have them displayed. I’m an occasional journalist, might make a good article or something.
