Is the following correct?

Situation:

• spg Plat
• MR Plat.
• Accounts neither linked (before Aug. 18) nor merged (after Aug. 18), i.e. still separate.

=> Paid stay at an MR property (in this case JW Marriott) booked through "MR/spg"-site (i.e. https://www.marriott.de/default.mi?program=spg&reset=true) after Aug. 18 results in points credit but not in night credit?

PS:
The booking was accidentally made through "MR/spg" instead of MR. Could´ve just as well been made through the "real" MR, but for whatever reason got mixed up.
