I just checked out this morning. When arriving on Sunday, I was given a larger Barlow wing room (I’m a Plat. Prem. Lifetime).

fromt desk clerk specifically told me that suites are not given as upgrades.

i didn’t feel like arguing T&C’s. My room was ready( it was 8am local time and I was tired.

Maybe you will have better luck, I’ve stayed at this property 5 times over the past few years and have never been given a suite. I was PP for most of those years and regular P otherwise.

i was given (as I always have been) chambers room/lounge access.
