Whenever I’ve been on the 799 from HEL it’s been a bus gate and Whenever its been a bus gate and it seems like they let BA park in the ars* end of nowhere a good 5 - 10 mins from the terminal. If a plane has a 50 min turnaround and it’s 40 mins late the gate *should* be closed effectively 10 mins before arrival. They would have every right to and I’ve seen them offload passengers or deny boarding. It’s going to be different buses used for boarding and alighting... and whilst there’s no security or immigration as you mix if it is a bus gate from gate 50 that’s in itself a good walk. Too risky for me I’m afraid.
