Eagles Creek Tarmac — just worried about what I’ve read about the zipper quality. Yes, it’s got a great warranty, but would rather not have to deal with sending luggage off to get fixed or, worse, having the zipper break mid-vacation

TravelPro Platinum Elite — What I’m leaning toward, but the 29” is technically oversized and don’t want to be at the mercy of a grumpy check-in agent!

B&R BRX — Price point a little higher than I’d like to go, but will splurge if needed...

Would appreciate any and all thoughts and experiences with each. Or are there others I should look at? Thank you
I have and use all three brands and I like and use them all. Given your issues I'd go with the B&R. It's not much more than the EC bag and with B&R you get the most bulletproof luggage out there with the best warranty service. Too bad that the new TP is "over-sized" but for another $100 you won't have to worry about getting nailed at check-in and one oversized charge will cost you at least that $100. I wish TP was better about making their luggage to actual specs. Good luck.
